BBA stands for Bachelor of Business Administration, a degree abbreviation.
Four-year undergraduate business degree covering accounting, finance, marketing, management, economics and business law, usually with a concentration chosen by the junior year. Michigan's Ross School, UT Austin's McCombs School and Georgia's Terry College are among the schools that award the BBA.
Example: Applicants to the BBA program apply directly as high school seniors instead of after freshman year.
Usage notes
Written B.B.A. in AP style. Many schools award the same curriculum as a BS in Business Administration (BSBA) or a BS in Business, and employers treat the titles as equivalent. Accreditation by AACSB matters more to recruiters than the letters themselves, and an MBA program does not require a BBA.
