MWF stands for Monday, Wednesday, Friday, a day of the week abbreviation also used in education.

A common US college and high school schedule pattern for courses that meet three times a week, typically in 50-minute periods. MWF sections contrast with TTh or TR sections that meet twice a week for about 75 minutes.

Example: I took the MWF 9 a.m. section so my Tuesdays and Thursdays stay free.

Usage notes
