LSAT stands for Law School Admission Test, a standardized test abbreviation.
Law school admissions test administered by the Law School Admission Council (LSAC) and scored from 120 to 180. Since August 2024 it consists of two scored Logical Reasoning sections, one scored Reading Comprehension section and an unscored experimental section, plus a separate written essay.

Usage notes
The August 2024 change removed Analytical Reasoning, the "logic games" section that had been part of the test for decades. The essay, now called LSAT Argumentative Writing, is unscored but sent to schools. Candidates can test online with remote proctoring or at a test center. A growing number of law schools also accept the GRE.
