Used widely by teens and young adults. In arguments it often reads as cold, so "idm" (I don't mind) is a gentler choice when simply being flexible. Avoid in professional messages.

Most common type of breast cancer, accounting for about 70 to 80 percent of invasive cases, beginning in a milk duct and invading the surrounding breast tissue, from where it can spread to lymph nodes and beyond.
Example: Core biopsy: IDC, grade 2, ER 95%, PR 60%, HER2 1+; clinical T2N0.
Pathologists now often use the WHO term invasive breast carcinoma of no special type (NST), because these tumors lack the features of special types such as invasive lobular carcinoma (ILC). Treatment depends on stage and on estrogen receptor, progesterone receptor and HER2 status, which define the main biological subtypes. Grade (1 to 3) reflects how abnormal the cells look.
