Usage notes

Ivan Sutherland's 1968 system is often cited as the first computer-driven HMD. Military helmets have used them for decades to show flight data. Key specifications include resolution per eye, field of view, refresh rate and weight, which affects comfort during long sessions. In the phone market, HMD is also the Finnish company that makes Nokia-branded phones.
