FHD stands for Full High Definition, a consumer electronics abbreviation.
Display or video resolution of 1920 by 1080 pixels, about 2.1 million pixels in a 16:9 frame, also called 1080p. It is standard for budget TVs, laptops and the most popular gaming monitors.
Example: The laptop has a 15.6-inch FHD screen, sharp enough for office work and video.
Usage notes
FHD has long been the most common primary display resolution in Steam's hardware survey. "FHD+" describes taller phone screens with 1080 pixels across, such as 1080 by 2400. At 24 inches an FHD monitor has about 92 pixels per inch, while the same resolution on a 32-inch screen starts to look soft.
