Measure of how much damage a character, weapon or ability deals over time, and by extension the role of a damage-focused character in a team, as in "we need one more DPS." Central to MMORPGs, hero shooters and action RPGs.
Example: Our DPS is too low to beat the enrage timer, swap someone to a damage build.
The classic MMORPG "holy trinity" divides groups into tanks, healers and DPS. Players use damage meters and simulators to compare DPS output, sometimes leading to elitism toward low performers. In Overwatch, "DPS" is the community name for the damage role. Pronounced as letters.
2. I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport

Main airport of Bali, Indonesia, located south of Denpasar on a narrow isthmus, with its runway extending into the sea. Nearly all of Bali's international tourists arrive here.
