Loot-distribution system used by raiding guilds in which members earn points for attending raids and spend them to bid on items. Named for points earned by killing dragon bosses.

Usage notes

Created in 1999 by the EverQuest guild Afterlife, named for the game's first dragon raid bosses, and widely adopted in early World of Warcraft. Many guilds later switched to loot councils or personal loot systems. A notable early example of player-created game economies.
