GSOH stands for Good sense of humour, a dating and relationship abbreviation also used in general use.
Personal-ad phrase stating that the advertiser has, or wants a partner with, a good sense of humor. A classic of British newspaper "lonely hearts" columns and early dating websites.
Example: Professional woman, 40s, GSOH, WLTM similar for walks and wine.
Usage notes
British spelling "humour" gives the H. Because so many ads claimed a GSOH, the phrase became a running joke about how little it reveals. Still appears in UK and Irish dating profiles. Part of a set of codes with WLTM (would like to meet) and NS (non-smoker).
