1. Complete bed rest

Strictest activity order: the patient stays in bed for all care, including elimination with a bedpan or urinal, bathing and meals. It is reserved for situations where even brief periods upright are dangerous, such as some spinal instability or the first hours after certain procedures.
Example: Pt on CBR until neurosurgery clears spine; logroll q2h with three staff.
Differs from BR with BRP, which allows bathroom trips. Nurses offset the risks of complete immobility with turning schedules, compression devices and range-of-motion exercises. Some hospitals use "strict bed rest" or "absolute bed rest" rather than CBR, so the local approved list should be checked.
2. Comic Book RAR

Comic book archive file that is a RAR archive of page images in reading order, opened by comic reader apps such as CDisplayEx, YACReader and Komga.
Example: The digital comic came as a CBR, so I opened it with a reader that supports RAR archives.
CBR and CBZ differ only in the compression format inside; renaming a CBR to .rar lets an archive tool extract the pages. Because creating RAR archives requires licensed software, many collectors convert CBR files to CBZ. A file labeled CBR that fails to open in a reader may actually be a ZIP with the wrong extension.
