BSEE stands for Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, a degree abbreviation.
Undergraduate electrical engineering degree covering circuits, signals, electromagnetics, power systems and electronics, accredited in the US by ABET. Job postings in hardware design, power utilities and semiconductors routinely list it as a minimum requirement.
Example: Requirements: BSEE or equivalent and three years of embedded hardware design experience.
Usage notes
Recruiters use BSEE, BSME and similar run-together forms as shorthand for "a BS in this discipline". Many schools combine the major as Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE). ABET accreditation matters because most states require an accredited degree before the FE exam and Professional Engineer licensure.
