WSCUC stands for WASC Senior College and University Commission, an academic abbreviation.
Institutional accreditor for four-year colleges and universities in California, Hawaii and the Pacific islands, including Stanford, the University of California campuses and Cal State universities. California community colleges are accredited separately by ACCJC.

Usage notes
WASC stood for the Western Association of Schools and Colleges, whose college and K-12 commissions later separated. Like other former regional accreditors, it may now accredit institutions in other states.
