Vcc stands for Collector supply voltage, an electronics & electrical abbreviation.
Label for the positive power supply rail of a circuit, originally the voltage applied to the collectors of bipolar transistors. On datasheets and boards, Vcc pins receive supply voltages such as 5 V or 3.3 V.
Example: Power the module from the 3.3 V rail, not 5 V, since its Vcc is rated to 3.6 V maximum.
Usage notes
The doubled letter follows a convention for supply voltages: Vcc for collector, Vee for emitter, Vdd for drain and Vss for source. Although rooted in bipolar transistors, Vcc is commonly used for any positive supply, including CMOS chips. Always check the datasheet's absolute maximum rating before connecting power.
