Usage notes
Its leader John Hume shared the 1998 Nobel Peace Prize with David Trimble for their work on the Good Friday Agreement. Since the early 2000s it has been overtaken by Sinn Féin as the largest nationalist party. Its MPs, unlike Sinn Féin's, take their seats at Westminster.
