MPJE stands for Multistate Pharmacy Jurisprudence Examination, a pharmacy abbreviation.
Pharmacy law exam administered by NABP, tailored to each participating state's laws as well as federal law, which pharmacists must pass to be licensed in that state.
Example: Transferring my license to Texas means passing the Texas MPJE.
Usage notes
Because questions are state-specific, pharmacists moving between states often must take the MPJE again. A few states use their own law exams instead; California, for example, administers the California Practice Standards and Jurisprudence Examination. Topics include controlled substances, prescription requirements and record keeping.
