LGTM stands for Looks good to me, a programming abbreviation.
Code-review shorthand meaning the reviewer has checked a change and approves it for merging. It often forms the entire text of an approval comment on a pull request.
Example: LGTM, just fix the typo in the docstring before you merge.
Usage notes
Google's internal review process made it widely known, since an LGTM from a code owner is required there before submitting. It can also be used sarcastically about obviously broken code, or as criticism of rubber-stamp reviews. Related shorthand includes PTAL and "nit" for a minor suggestion.
