LBdr stands for Lance Bombardier, a british military rank abbreviation.
Royal Artillery and Royal Horse Artillery equivalent of a lance corporal, wearing one chevron and serving as a junior NCO in a gun detachment or command post. Like other artillery-specific titles, it marks the soldier's regiment as clearly as the cap badge.
Example: LBdr Price laid the gun on the new bearing within seconds of the fire order.
Usage notes
Formerly written L/Bdr. Artillery units use distinct titles throughout the junior ranks: gunner for private, lance bombardier for lance corporal and bombardier for corporal. Above that, gunners use the ordinary sergeant and warrant officer titles.
