FVEY stands for Five Eyes, an international organization abbreviation.
Intelligence-sharing alliance of the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, Australia and New Zealand, especially for signals intelligence. The abbreviation appears in classification markings on shared material.
Example: The report was marked SECRET//REL TO FVEY for release to the five partners.
Usage notes
It grew out of the 1946 UKUSA Agreement between Britain and the United States, later joined by the other three countries. Its existence was officially acknowledged only in the 2010s. The partners' signals agencies include the NSA, GCHQ, Canada's CSE, Australia's ASD and New Zealand's GCSB.
