BOLC stands for Basic Officer Leader Course, a military term abbreviation.

Example: Infantry BOLC ends with a grueling field exercise before lieutenants head to Ranger School.
Usage notes
Pronounced "BOWL-see." Course length varies widely by branch. Earlier versions of officer basic training were called the Officer Basic Course (OBC). The Marine Corps equivalent is The Basic School, followed by specialty schools.
