Usage notes

Mumsnet, the UK parenting site founded in 2000, lets readers vote on AIBU threads with YABU (you are being unreasonable) or YANBU (you are not). The format predates and resembles Reddit's AITA. Threads range from trivial etiquette questions to serious family conflicts, and popular ones are often picked up by British newspapers.
