ONO stands for Or nearest offer, a classified ad abbreviation.

Follows an asking price in British, Irish, Australian and New Zealand classified ads to show that offers close to the price will be considered, as in "£400 ONO."

Example: Garden shed, 6x4 ft, good condition, £150 ONO, buyer collects.

Usage notes

ONO is the British and Commonwealth counterpart of the American OBO, and it is also expanded "or near offer." Ads often combine it with "buyer collects," meaning the buyer must pick up the item. Sellers who will not negotiate write "no offers."
