ERA+ stands for Adjusted ERA+, a baseball abbreviation.
ERA normalized to the league average and adjusted for ballpark, with 100 as average and higher numbers better. A 150 ERA+ means a pitcher was 50 percent better than average.
Example: His 184 ERA+ led all qualified starters despite pitching half his games at Coors Field.
Usage notes
Published by Baseball-Reference. Pedro Martinez's 291 ERA+ in 2000 is the best of the live-ball era, a figure that accounts for his pitching in a high-offense era and at hitter-friendly Fenway Park. Unlike raw ERA, higher is better.
