ACCA stands for Association of Chartered Certified Accountants, a professional certification abbreviation.
Global professional accounting body, founded in 1904 and headquartered in London, whose qualification is widely held in the UK, Africa, the Middle East and Asia. Members who complete its exams and three years of experience use the letters ACCA after their names, and fellows use FCCA.
Example: Applicants must be ACCA or CIMA qualified with experience in IFRS reporting.
