TS% stands for True shooting percentage, a basketball abbreviation.

Shooting efficiency stat that counts two-pointers, three-pointers and free throws: points divided by twice the sum of field goal attempts and 0.44 times free throw attempts. League average has been around 57 to 58 percent in recent NBA seasons.

Example: He scored 30 a night on 64 TS%, remarkable efficiency for that volume.

Usage notes

The 0.44 factor approximates the share of free throws that end a possession, since and-ones and three-shot fouls do not. TS% is the most common single measure of scoring efficiency on sites such as Basketball-Reference and NBA.com.
