Exclamation of excitement or amazement, as in "that play was pog" or a lone "pog!" in Twitch chat. Comes from the PogChamp emote, a surprised face that viewers spammed at exciting moments.

PogChamp originally showed fighting-game personality Ryan "Gootecks" Gutierrez; Twitch removed that version in January 2021 after he posted comments encouraging further unrest following the US Capitol riot, and later rotated in community faces. The word "pog" itself recalls POGs, the 1990s milk-cap game named after a passion fruit, orange and guava juice.
