DCEU stands for DC Extended Universe, a film, television and theater abbreviation.
Shared universe of DC Comics superhero films from Man of Steel (2013) to Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom (2023), produced by Warner Bros. It included Wonder Woman, Batman v Superman and Justice League.
Example: Wonder Woman was the best-reviewed entry in the DCEU.
Usage notes
The name was coined by fans and press; Warner Bros. rarely used it officially. The franchise was succeeded by the DCU, overseen by DC Studios, formed in 2022 under James Gunn and Peter Safran.
